Adrian YapPrincipalfjcstudio (formely fjmtstudio)
Adrian is a principal at fjcstudio with over 20 years of experience in the building industry and helps lead the Oxford Studio. He is dedicated to achieving innovative and sustainable outcomes within a framework of design excellence. His work has been recognized with prestigious industry awards.
Previously, Adrian served as editor for the technical section of the Australian Institute of Architects’ Architectural Bulletin and was featured in the Australian Architecture Association’s Young Architects Take 2 Exhibition.
Adrian led the team for the University of Oxford’s Tinbergen Chemistry Teaching Laboratory, which received The International Architecture Award® in 2024. He was also involved in The Wolfson Building, the UK’s first dedicated centre for stroke and dementia prevention research, which won The International Architecture Award® in 2020.
Most recently, Adrian completed Reuben College, the first new college for the University of Oxford in nearly 30 years and the first of the 21st century. This project is one of the University’s largest decarbonisation and decontamination efforts. Adrian is currently leading the adaptive reuse and refurbishment of the Grade I-listed 17th-century Pepys Library Building for Cambridge University’s Magdalene College.

Eleni Stefania KalapodaArchitect, engineer and urban designerAIA Associate, LEED Green Associate, ENVSP
Eleni Stefania is a New York-based architect, engineer and urban designer (AIA Associate, LEED Green Associate, ENVSP), founder of the international practice Embedded Climates Design Group, which is focusing on the design and construction of more efficient, intelligent and sustainable buildings and cities.
Her work is driven by a people-first approach, tailored to diverse social, cultural and economic urban contexts, environmentally responsible and flexible adapt to long-term future growth. She has served as a sustainability expert for the USGBC LEED v5 Technical Advisory Group, reviewer, research mentor, topic coordinator and contributor for several academic magazines, scientific journals and professional architecture, engineering and planning conferences such as the IBPSA-USA SimBuild 2024 Conference, the IEEE Power & Energy Society PESGM2024 Conference, the Urban Economy Forum’s (UEF 5) & ISOCARP’s (WPC59) World Planning Congress 2023, Columbia GSAPP’s Managed Retreat 2023, USGBC’s Greenbuild 2023 International Conference and Expo, and UIA World Congress of Architects Copenhagen 2023, peer reviewed publications on building technology, and coordinated research topics on climate adaptation for buildings and cities for the Frontiers in Climate Special Issue.
She is an interdisciplinary designer of civic, cultural, institutional and infrastructural projects that integrate systems of economies and ecologies that reimagine the flows of people and resources in our cities and buildings, sustaining a holistic and future-responsive strategic framework for resilient urban development that is more equitable, just, livable and committed to restoring the balance between the Earth’s resources, ecosystems and the communities that thrive in them.

Hans-Petter BjørnådalPrincipal ArchitectBjørnådal Arkitektstudio
Hans-Petter Bjørnådal is the principal architect of Bjørnådal Arkitektstudio (barkitekt.no) and holds a master’s degree from the Bergen School of Architecture (BAS, 2003), with further studies in social anthropology, landscape ecology, and philosophy. Over two decades of professional experience, he has designed diverse projects—from environmental theaters to kindergartens and schools—using an artistic and anthropological approach that results in regenerative and poetic solutions.
His work has been honored with multiple awards and has been exhibited internationally, notably in the Nordic Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia. Esteemed publications have featured his designs, reflecting their resonance within the global architectural community.
Furthermore, Hans-Petter was selected to create the opening ceremony for Bodø 2024—European Capital of Culture—demonstrating his visionary contributions to both architecture and cultural events.
As a juror on the international stage, Hans-Petter brings a regenerative perspective and deep respect for human experience, aiming to celebrate works that nurture communities, inspire wonder, and foster a vibrant dialogue between people and place.

Melike AltinişikArchitectFounder of Melike Altınışık Architects-MAA
As an award-winning architect and designer, Melike Altınışık is dedicated to developing innovative and visionary projects in architecture, urbanism and design. She leads her international architectural practice Melike Altınışık Architects – MAA with offices in Istanbul, Turkey and Seoul, South Korea. She was featured in the RIBA book ‘100 Women: Architects in Practice’ (2024).
Her training allows her to lead projects of varying scales, from masterplans, high-rise buildings and cultural centres to bespoke interiors, installations and product design, from initial concept to execution. Her work has been recognised with a number of awards including Europe 40 under 40 (2018), BAKSI ‘Architecture Contribution Award’ (2021) and FEIDAD Design Award and Swiss Art Award (2007).
MAA’s work includes CTBUH 2022 “Best Tall Non-Building 2022” winning projects with advanced technology and innovation such as the futuristic 369m supertall Istanbul TV-Radio Tower in Istanbul, Turkey and the world’s first pioneering Robot and AI Museum (RAIM) in Seoul, South Korea.
