Rubén is a spanish architect and he was born in 1985 in Pedralba in Valencia. He gratuated in architecture, specializing in Building Design, from the School of Architecture of Valencia, graduating with honors for his Final Project. He collaborated for two years with architect Dr. José Manuel Barrera Puigdollers until founding Rubén Muedra Estudio de Arquitectura in Valencia in 2010.The studio, specialized in single-family residential architecture, has been developing projects for private clients since its founding. It currently also works on restoration, retail, and large scale office projects for companies such as SP Berner, Idai Nature, Clave Denia AleHop,and Consorfrut. In every project, the studio maintains its core philosophy: responsible, creative, free, and honest architecture rooted in constructive precision and integrity, with respect for the environment and the client's needs making each project truly unique.Recently, Rubén was awarded the Excellence in Sustainable Architectural Design Award at the BUILD Sustainable Building Awards for the Passivhaus office project for Idai Nature. He has also lectured at the 6th Nearly Zero Energy Building Congress in Madrid and the 11th Passivhaus Conference in Burgos.
