This innovative urban development proposal reimagines residential living within the city. It aims to harmoniously integrate new residential blocks into the existing urban grid and community, enhancing the area’s energy efficiency and social cohesion. The project reconsiders the master plan to ensure the new structures complement the city’s urban composition.
Breaking down large masses into individual units not only respects but enhances the existing neighborhood’s character and sunlight access. This approach fosters inclusivity and connection between new and existing residents. Central to this development is the integration of nature and sustainability.
The project promotes environmentally conscious living, incorporating farming and zero-energy design systems. Each apartment extends outdoors, offering private gardens that bring nature closer to residents. Emphasizing bioclimatic strategies, the design uses passive systems like vegetated balconies for seasonal climate control, improving biodiversity and air quality. This project represents a vision for future cities, blending nature and urban living: “Within the city, yet closer to nature.”
