Located in Istanbul. TiedUp sells different types of products like mugs, notebooks, clothes etc. and needed a place to hold some events.
The ways of displaying the products exhibited in commercial spaces where the exhibition function is dominant include commercial concerns. Although this relationship is valid to a certain extent for art galleries, it is never primary. Preferring to stand somewhere between the boundaries of these two different relationships, the designers reinterpreted today’s commercial space by considering the concept of the White Cube, put forward by Brian O’Doherty. The main goal of the design was to create a neutral and fluid background for the colorful objects of the brand. White lacquer-painted surfaces that lean against the walls of the store form the display surfaces in addition to fixed furniture -patisserie, shelves, seats for patisserie, etc. and self-illuminating white Barrisol surfaces on the upper level of these lacquered wooden surfaces.
