The design of the Jubilee building challenges traditional university norms by reimagining flow spaces into active areas for idea exchange – dynamic environments fostering collaboration and social interaction. Public spaces function as forums, cultivating communities of learners and facilitating the development of valuable ideas. The building offers a loop of interior and exterior study spaces, encouraging movement and social spontaneity. Its façade, vertically divided in line with neighboring buildings, acts as louvers to prevent overheating and direct light. The architecture seamlessly integrates into the urban fabric, blending university and city scales, and featuring cascading gardens for learning and interaction. The building program aligns with user flow and room capacity, with larger volumes on lower floors and smaller on higher floors. The project blurs the boundaries between architecture, education, and nature, creating a home that stimulates self-learning and creativity. The Jubilee building promotes transparency, visibility, and interconnection to foster curiosity and collaboration.
