Oncolille is a research center project which consists of four experimental platforms bringing together laboratories, associated tertiary spaces as well as a public part on the ground floor activated by a reception area open to an atrium, a cafeteria and as many representation spaces that build the image of openness and renown of the Institute in order to attract researchers to this new building.
Rational, scalable, long-lasting, this project is also distinguished by the work on the theme of bricks and raw earth, as much in its materiality as by the variations of moldings. From the ‘moucharabieh’ of the cafeteria terrace to mark the intimacy of its garden, to the red terracotta tile that lines all the common spaces, to the tendril-shaped columns that structure the entrance, this ornamental research marks the contemporaneity of the building.
