The Conservatory is organized in decrescendo between the 4-story apartment building and the individual houses that dot this district with its varied urban forms. In this logic, the facade on the Street is punctuated by two pavilions framing the caesura of the hall, the interior patio, and the garden in the heart.
This sequence of spaces makes it possible to introduce transparency from the street to the back of the plot. The facades of the pavilions in bricks set the tone of an institution that is well integrated, with sobriety into the site. The setback on the street and the implantation of the volumes allows to clear a pedestrian square planted with trees. This expansion of the public space offers a breather on the street and a secure forecourt towards the reception hall. In contrast to the glass walls of the hall, the facades are clad with solid bricks.
