This project transcends the built elements to integrate new variables, such as the landscape, the historical heritage, and elements of bioconstruction.
The rehabilitation comprises of:
-Two stone buildings are connected by a derelict corridor. They are old houses that have undergone changes over time but that retain notable identifying elements, such as the imposing wooden galleries or the mansard roofs.
-A traditional raised granary.
-An underground water mine that flows into a pond.
-Stone stables.
The intervention principles are developed according to the careful study of the pre-existing conditions, including land biogeological research. These conditions are combined with the new use needs to solve the design problem as a mathematical equation that also integrates social, aesthetical, and compositional factors that provide coherence and ensure the success final product.
