At the heart of an urban renewal project in Paris, the first block of the Messageries district, near the Gare de Lyon aims to be a model of excellence. It is integrated between the inherited structures of the railway and the contemporary designs surrounding the new park. It comes in harmony with these two distinct urban aspects.
Le Messager embodies an urban conscience, adopting a reversible mixed-use program of offices, retail, urban logistics and housing. It aims to create a flexible structure that takes future societal mutations into account while preserving the history of the place. The project addresses the most recent issues with a wooden structure favoring brightness, a low carbon footprint and total reversibility.
The Paris stone base provides a successful urban integration and enhances the value of local resources. This innovative project is the result of Franklin Azzi and Hame offices collaboration alongside the client’s requirements.
