La Maison du Fair(e) promotes the intersection between inhabitants, manufacturing, and entertainment: this project allows the meeting of different users.
The proposal goes beyond the simple vertical layering of work and habitat programs. The typology of the dwellings and the size of the space devoted to the manufacturing workshops adapt perfectly to the needs.
The building’s common ground and basement, which have been turned towards electrical mobility, are designed as the main square on the town’s ground level.
They are conceived in such a way as to ensure receiving and accomodating the public into a single and unique space.
The project consists of putting a building that has been constructed in 1907, through an extensive renovation and extension, as realized in the wooden structure.
Additionally, in a dynamic of re-employment, reclaimed materials would be incorporated into the construction, in order to enhance and bring out the rich history of this place.
