The project is a hanging garden in the mountains. The client wanted to have a garden and a parking space for his collection car on a land with a steep slope adjoining his chalet.
For this we built a semi-underground car park whose roof would become a garden. Mixing the structural codes of bridges and mountain dams, a 15m long rolled-up beam allows the crossing of the slab placed on two stone ripraps.
All the materials used are located less than 30km from the construction site. This large beam is doubled to make a railing and become a planter for the hanging garden. The hanging garden is structured to admire the great landscape with simple architecture.
