The Football Club Bokelj stadium proposal crafts a unique identity integrated into the city’s territory and heritage. In opposition to the traditionally enclosed sport venues, the stadium is thought as an open plaza, allowing spectators to both support their team and enjoy the scenic landscape. A sturdy stone plinth rises from the natural ground, protected from the street with green belt. Anchored on the southern street, the building extends the public space on both sides of the football field, connected by a unified pedestrian path for easy access. The design prioritizes a low profile construction to humbly blend the 2780 seats into the living neighborhood. Major facilities are tucked below street level, providing a half-sunken condition, and public amenities are spread in small blocks, reminiscent of Kotor’s intimate streets.
