Standing against the sloping hill, the house overlooks the surrounding landscape. The large bay windows allow continuity between the interior and the exterior, revealing nature and creating new possibilities of appropriation while offering living spaces open to the garden and terraces.
The path to the east provides access to an entrance, coupled with a big square opening that brings the landscape in. A threshold between the open, the intimate, and the in-between.
A four-faceted core takes place in the center of the space. Four functions: kitchen, library, bench, water feature. Playful, alive, adaptable, appropriable.
The first floor offers more intimate spaces orientated to the north and the valley. Three isolated spaces, each with its own sanitary. Three windows. Three views of the landscape. Every day a different one.
The house becomes the stage. Ever-changing scenarios, distinct aesthetics. These are the poetics of the ordinary. The (extra)ordinary.
