In Santa Teresa, wild nature meets the Pacific Ocean in a truly poetic setting. Located in a natural clearing overlooking the jungle twenty meters below, the ecolodge has been designed to minimize its impact on the environment while celebrating local culture and the natural beauty of the area.
The Ecolodge consists of six small “casitas” overlooking the rainforest and a public villa perched at the top of the site dedicated to leisure, sport, and wellness. The villa and the “casitas” share a common architectural language and organization: interior and exterior porosities, large sheltering roof canopies and a bioclimatic design.
Each part of the project offers a different experience of immersion and dialogue with the surrounding jungle, while ensuring the utmost respect for its ecosystem, where the human presence finds its place with delicacy and humility. The ecolodge is progressively being built reflecting the needs of the customer and carefully using the resources available within the community.
