The floating house is located in an environment surrounded by golf courses and nature. The previous study of the terrain marked the design of this house that manages not to invade the native flora and integrates into the environment as an element that arises from nature and coexists with it. In the whole of the house, there is a part buried in the ground, fully integrating itself and other volumes that “fly” so as not to disturb it. The orientation of these “flying” bodies meets the views over the Mediterranean Sea and their disposition avoids creating shadows between them. As in nature, water is of vital importance here. With the use of water and interior vegetation, the architects achieve sustainably the adequate comfort that this villa needs. The structure is part of the villa’s design. Except for the foundation, nothing is hidden, it is a bare and sincere villa.
