The setting up of the radio laboratory is the final step of the restoration of a building that mixes housing, radio laboratory, and a community rooftop terrace. The project enhances the image of this 1920s building by creating a coherent and homogeneous facade, marked by the presence of the two existing iron columns.
Inside, the sobriety of the micro cement and lime plaster used for the floor and walls highlights the presence of the wooden furniture designed to house an existing radio collection. Everything is designed on the basis of a single module that ensures the continuity of the exhibition space.
Thanks to its texture, wood becomes the link between the history of the building and the sobriety of the furniture with its decidedly contemporary details.
