The scenography, designed for Paris Fashion Week, represents a unique fusion of fashion, architecture, and art. Since 2017, we have collaborated with prestigious houses such as Poiret, Roger Vivier, Elie Saab, The Kooples, Lemaire, Alexandre Vauthier, and Cerruti, developing event projects that reinvent the experience of fashion shows and exhibitions. Each of these collaborations has enriched our expertise and refined our ability to create captivating and distinctive stage designs.
For this project, a shoe collection by Nicholas Kirkwood was showcased through an exhibition in the majestic Cathédrale Hall of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris. The space was entirely reimagined and transformed into a setting inspired by the iconic architecture of Ricardo Bofill’s La Muralla Roja. This architectural reference, renowned for its interlocking geometric shapes and vibrant colors, served as the foundation for creating a powerful and poetic visual universe. The installation is structured around an intricate maze of walls and staircases that rise gradually, guiding visitors on a contemplative and mysterious journey. Throughout this path, perspectives continually shift, offering a constant rediscovery of the exhibited collection. The spaces are divided into distinct chromatic zones – blue, white, and orange – evoking the hues of La Muralla Roja. These colors, carefully integrated into the scenography, bring depth and harmony to the exhibition.
To enhance the visual experience, video projections and screens were incorporated, creating dynamic backdrops that highlight the collection. These multimedia elements interact subtly with the architectural forms and colors, reinforcing the dreamlike atmosphere of the installation.
Special attention was paid to surface textures. To faithfully replicate the aesthetic of La Muralla Roja’s walls, we collaborated with a decorative painter. This artist meticulously recreated a sand-textured finish, applied across the entire scenography, capturing the materiality and nuances of Bofill’s original work. This artisanal touch adds a tactile and authentic dimension to the experience. Thus, this scenography stands at the crossroads of fashion, art, and architecture, offering an experience that is both aesthetic and sensory. It reflects our commitment to pushing the boundaries of event creation by combining innovation, expertise, and artistic inspiration.
