Nesile Yalçin is an architect and design strategist specialized in designing environments and campuses by creating interaction strategies & scenarios for their users. After working in the field for a decade, Nesile founded Studio Monas in 2020. Her work focuses on human-centered, future-proofed, and collaborative design processes with a strategic approach to the bigger narrative. Nesile developed a new approach to maximize spatial possibilities and create authentic experiences over time by rediscovering the potential of the space and the given brief/budget/timeline. Nesile's work has been nominated and awarded internationally, including Aga Khan Architecture Awards and Architizer A+ Award. Her works were exhibited and presented at various venues and conferences, such as Milan Design Week, Contemporary Istanbul, Arch + Dsgn Summit. She graduated from Istanbul Technical University School of Architecture and received her master’s degree from ITU. Her academic article, “Task-related pro-environmental behaviours of architectural designers: LEED-based evidence from Turkey,” published in Architectural Engineering and Design Management Journal.
