Maciej is a Polish architect, based in Switzerland, leading his architectural practice MS86A | Maciej Sokolnicki Architects, which delivers bold and thoughtful architectural projects worldwide. Educated at the Bartlett (UCL London), TU Berlin, and Poznań University of Technology.Maciej has refined his creative voice under the mentorship of visionary architects such as Daniel Libeskind, Massimiliano Fuksas, and Zvi Hecker. Immersed in the Swiss architectural culture, he developed a lasting reverence for precision, function, and architectural clarity—principles that continue to define his practice. His diverse portfolio spans residential projects, cultural institutions, educational spaces, museums, offices, and bridges.He is a co-author of the Berdychowskie Bridges in Poznań, Poland—a newly opened landmark project that merges architecture and engineering to reshape the city’s urban fabric and elevate the public experience of the surrounding historical context.
