Kyriakos is a Cypriot architect.He studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued his studies at the University College London. In 2018, he established his own architectural studio in Nicosia. The studio engages with spatial projects across a range of scales, addressing diverse programs and operating at multiple levels of the built environment. Since its founding, the practice has received several national and international awards in architectural competitions, exhibitions, and workshops.In 2022, the studio was awarded the State Architecture Prize in the category "Project of a Young Architect". In 2023, the project “Domus Laetitiae” was selected to represent Cyprus at the European Mies Van der Rohe Architecture Awards.At a research level, his work focuses on architecture and memory, through a theoretical and practice based lens that explores how new layers of meanings could potentially emerge in contested urban environments. He is currently a PhD Candidate at the School of Architecture, University of Cyprus where he also teaches the course “Architectural Communication Media” and “Architectural Design Studio”.
