Fabien is a French architect and engineer, co-founder of Mind Architecture, based in Marseille, France, created with Clélia Naud. The studio focuses on public facilities and coastal urban contexts, with a particular interest in port city interfaces along the Mediterranean shore.Mind Architecture develops projects that combine spatial precision, material clarity, and a strong attention to use and context. The office is currently involved in the transformation of port areas and the design of public buildings, including the Harbor Master’s Office of La Pointe Rouge in Marseille and the redevelopment of the port superstructures in Sainte-Maxime. A recent project, a clubhouse and locker rooms in Coudoux, also incorporates local timber species such as Aleppo pine and black pine, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to regional resources.The agency works through its projects on the envelope of buildings and especially its use on interfaces to mix different elements such as public and private spaces, urban and maritime landscapes, ports and cities, and various materials according to their relevance to climate change.
