Emilie is a French architect and scenographer who graduated from the École d'architecture de Paris Belleville and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Shaped by experiences in France and abroad, her professional journey led her to co-found a multidisciplinary studio called Græphème with Amélie Lauret in 2019. Græphème explores scenography as a form of architecture.Specialising in designing exhibition spaces, operas and cultural events, the studio is driven by the belief that architecture can inspire people to dream, escape, feel and move through the creation of spaces imbued with emotion and sensory richness.Græphème designs temporary and permanent scenographies for prestigious institutions such as the Louvre, MUCEM, the Orsay Museum and the National Museum of the History of Immigration. The duo also works in the performing arts, designing opera productions in France and abroad. By crossing disciplines, they aim to develop a narrative and immersive approach to architecture that serves a poetic and socially engaged vision of the world.
